SUMMARY:Transitions Process Group
DESCRIPTION:This group meets weekly for 12 weeks to engage the challenging and recrudescent experience of life transitions in a psychosocial environment. When we find ourselves on the precipice of unanticipated change\, when life is in disagreement with our expected outcomes\, or when we have come to the end of ourselves and are seeking to understand what is being born through us\, this group can offer guidance in the psychological transition of our ego death. Process groups are leaderless groups guided by a psychotherapist or co-therapists and attendance is critical for group cohesion and formulation to foster a deeper experience of the therapeutic environment. \nThe group is considered a confidential therapeutic activity and each member will need to sign an agreement to keep group disclosures and discussions confidential. While licensed professionals maintain confidentiality in their work with the group\, it is important to understand that the nature of group work does not guarantee confidentiality among its members. \nThis group is limited to male and female participants over the age of 18. Group size ranges from 6 to 12 participants. \nRegister Now\nSpace is limited. To apply for this group please download the guidelines and application form.\nCost: $300 for a 1.5 hour\, 12-week group paid in advance of attendance. Cost reimbursed after the event dependent on insurance coverage.\nSchedule: This group will begin on 16 January\, 2027 for 12 Saturdays between 2:30PM to 4PM and will end on 3 April\, 2027.\nRefund Policy: A full refund can be issued before 2 January\, 2027. SUMMARY:Truth\, Lies\, and Secrets
DESCRIPTION:This in-person workshop covers relational and familial themes of often well-intentioned forms of self-deception. We can deceive ourselves and thereby deceive others\, we can tell ourselves truths that beguile us into our self-deceptions\, and we can view secrets as safety from harmful outcomes with the belief that such things will not bring harm if they are not known. From a psychodynamic view what is harmful about secrecy is not the active concealment of it in our social interactions\, but our mind wandering to a secret outside of these concealment contexts.  This workshop involves a lecture\, material handouts\, and Q&A. \nSpace is limited to 12 participants. \nRegister Now\nWorkshop Duration. 2 hours with beverages and light snacks.\nCost: $100 for professionals (2 CEU’s Available to Mental Health Professionals)\, $50 for non-professionals\, $25 for students or provisionals.\nSchedule: March 6th\, 2027  |  3:00pm-4pm  |  2425 S 171st Street\, Suite 110\, Omaha\, NE 68130.\nRefund Policy: A full refund is provided if the participant makes the request to withdrawal 7 days prior to the start of the workshop.
