Why a Firefly?

The evanescence of the firefly being comfortable in darkness with points of light along its path, seeks union. Perhaps a union with a new horizon of an unanticipated beginning. It seems with the firefly that darkness holds its own mystery.

Why a hummingbird?

The elegance of the hummingbird in suspended flight is its curious presence. While many birds soar with grace, the hummingbird gracefully pauses. The hummingbird, does not fly by a moment but appears to have a prescient curiosity.

Dragonfly

Why a dragonfly?

The image of the dragonfly superimposes upon the image of a firefly as a symbol of transformation: The dragonfly with a tail light. From under water nymph to aerial adult, the symbol of the mutant dragonfly with a light on its tail serves as a metaphor of profound life transformation.
