Discourse is the alchemy of authentic narrative and the free association of ideas and thoughts. At Firefly Horizons Under Hummingbird Skies we call this exercise FlyCasting! The exchange of ideas and thoughts is the circulatory system that keeps the tissue and tone of our quest organic and alive. We invite you to join us in context with the serendipity of our verbal melee.

- FlyCast 005: (17:53) 30 Days of Night and 6 Days of Dawn (Unabridged)
We interrupt our series on Foreplay for Life to bring you a special interview by Firefly Blue on Steven in the Wild as he speaks candidly for the first time about his experience of unjust imprisonment by a self-destructive ex-spouse and his process of holding to what can never be taken from us. Hate cannot destroy the heart of love with its reward of the unanticipated perception to the invisible support that always surrounds us.
- FlyCast 004: (10:13) Foreplay for Life (Part I)
How we engage life makes all the difference in how we experience it. In this first segment of our Foreplay for Life series, the Fireflies discuss our relationships in context to people, vocations, creativity, and growth. It is in our curiosity and willingness to accept uncertainty that we can seduce ourselves with the embers of our passions and the enthusiasm of our desires.
- FlyCast 003: (9:45) Tell Me Your Odyssey
Odysseus had a story to tell that Ithaca did not care to hear. Each of us has an experience and like Odysseus, we can possess a nostalgia that compels us to travel “home” with enthusiasm to proclaim it as a gift. In apportioning the tribute to others, we receive it back with a deeper experiential richness and understanding. The story is resident inside of us, but we may search all our life for someone to say, “Tell me!”
- FlyCast 002: (10:29) Painting the Portrait
Is spirituality a cumulus of miracles or synchronistic experience? We can live under an overt blessing or curse and it comprises the colors on the palette that paints the portrait of our developing nature. The dye soaks into the canvas of our lives and cannot be removed, only repainted. No matter the portrait, each conceals an indistinguishable beauty.
- FlyCast 001: (10:29) Ambivalent Love
Understanding how we love is critical to the longevity of a relationship. There is an often unnoticed nuance of selfish proclivity which is mistaken as love. To be ambivalent is sometimes perceived as apathetic, on the contrary, the unselfish quality of ambivalence is expansive and honoring to another. It is the purest form of love; a very mature way to love.
